 We the people of the DFP, believing in the faith of Ghanaians to shape their own destiny in building a society of time-tested values have realized the need for a new political culture of tolerance, civility, and a focus on issues devoid of threats, violence, abuse, vilification, and lies. We have therefore decided to create this party to champion values that will lead the realization of the potential of every individual and of the nation. The party was launched on the 28th October 2006.

The DFP is putting forward 2 candidates for election at the congress. Alhaji Abdul Rahman Isakah 64, is married with 6 children. He holds a Bsc. Economics degree from the University of Ghana. He is an Oil & Gas Consultant who has been the Ashanti Regional Manager of the Ghana Oil Company (GOIL) for many years and held various [positions at UAC (Unilever), National Inssurance Company (NIC), State Enterprice Commission, GHAMOT and is currently an Entrepreneur. Dr. Emmanuel Ansah-Antwi was a Local NUGS President during his student days at the Natioanl Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) and currently holds a Masters degree MA International Businesss from the London Metropolitan University, a PHD in Marketing Communications from the DeMontford University of Leicester. He has worked with GBC, TV Africa, Event ChannelTropical Vision, EPA, Reed Employment Agency, Rural Development Trust, London Metropolitan University among others. |
