We have therefore decided to create this party to champion values that will lead the realization of the potential of every individual and of the nation.

The party was launched on the 28th October 2006.

We are determined to provide platform for the Ghanaians of all walks of life to contribute to providing paradigm shift in our national life and economic development agenda, in an effort to bring relief to our citizenry. We have resolved to uphold the constitution of the Republic of Ghana and the rule of law at all times.

Our primary objectives are to win power through democratic elections, to form a government for the purpose of bringing development and improved conditions of Ghanaians, to promote participatory democracy, transparent and responsible government in Ghana, work towards the achievement of equality and fraternity of all persons in Ghana without regards to ethnicity, religious belief, ideology, cultural, social or economic status.
